Questionnaire Results and Proposal

These are the results to the questionnaire I wrote as a way to gain understanding toward the production of my music magazine. Based on the information gathered, it was seen that the majority of the people that took the questionnaire prefered the genre of Hip-Hop closely followed by R&B. This was a key bit of information, as it links to my proposal. It was also seen that it is best for me to release my magazine monthly. I feel this is a better method as it will help give time for bigger and better stories that weekly releases would fail to ensure. Most people who took this questionnaire have not purchased a magazine before, so will generally be new to the feel. This also ensures that I make to more appealing for purchase. The general result was seen that people would prefer to have free items along with their magazine and preferably CDs to be the item. The people who too the questionnaire also said they would like to partake in competitions, regarding the mag.

Proposal: My magazine is based on R&B and Hip-Hop within the UK and US. The magazine shall be released on the first day of every month and will thus feature more stories which took place in the month prior to it's release. It shall feature several articles of both famous and upcoming artists so the audience can experience diverse information within the Hip-Hop/ R&B scene. The Target audience will be both men and women varying between the ages of 15-30, as these are the prime ages in which the chosen genres appeal to greatly.
